The Forest School First Aid + course is a comprehensive 16-hour blended qualification combining Forest School First Aid and full Paediatric First Aid training in a fully immersive outdoor setting.
Designed for those working with children in outdoor, woodland and nature-based learning environments, the course builds the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to respond to emergency situations
Combining flexible online learning with a hands-on practical training day in the great outdoors, the qualification meets the full Paediatric First Aid requirements outlined in Annex A of the EYFS statutory framework whilst also covering the additional considerations of outdoor education and Forest School settings.
Ideal for Forest School leaders, early years practitioners, teachers, holiday clubs, scouting groups and and outdoor learning professionals, the course is delivered in a supportive and engaging way to help learners feel calm, capable and prepared for real-life situations.
Course Details
Part 1 - Online Learning
Complete the online theory modules at your own pace from home or work, with progress saved as you go for flexible learning around your schedule.

Part 2 - Practical Training
Attend an engaging hands-on practical training day with demonstrations, scenario practice, and practical assessment, followed by a short quiz to consolidate learning. NB: this is an outdoor class

Online & In Person
Assessment is completed through online check-ins and interactive quiz style assessment, with practical observations during the training day ending with a short multiple-choice quiz

Successful learners receive 2 certificates - Forest School First Aid + Paediatric First Aid
